What is Burgundy Atlas?
An interactive atlas of Burgundy’s wine places. Open a village, vineyard, or named place and see its boundary, terrain, neighbors, and sources.
Is it free?
Yes. The website and the iPhone app are free.
Is there an iPhone app?
Yes, in public beta on TestFlight, with the App Store release on its way. Get the app.
Do I need an account?
Not on the website. The iPhone app asks you to sign in with Apple, which keeps your saved places and tasting maps with your account. You can delete it in the app under My Atlas › Settings.
Which areas does it cover?
Burgundy, from Chablis and the Grand Auxerrois to the Mâconnais. Current coverage.
Does a boundary show who owns a vineyard?
No. It shows a mapped designation, named place, or parcel. Ownership, farming, and production need their own evidence. Limits worth knowing.
How current is the data?
The Atlas publishes reviewed, versioned releases. When a source publisher revises its data, the change is reviewed before a new release goes live.
How do I report an error?
Email le1ercrew@gmail.com with the place name, the page link, and what looks wrong. Each report is checked against the source record; accepted fixes arrive in a later release.
